One of London’s leading flexible workspace operators, The Office Group, has announced the acquisition of two prominent buildings in London’s West End, totalling 83,000sqf. The two acquisitions bring the number of workspaces in their portfolio to 43.
Backed by Blackstone, TOG have acquired The Media Village, a 47,000sqf property ideally located on Great Titchfield Street in the heart of Fitzrovia, and Liberty House which sits prominently on Regent Street and comprises 36,000sqf backing on to department store, Liberty London.
Both ‘The Media Village’ and ‘Liberty House’ will undergo extensive refurbishments, with re-designs by Note Design Studio and SODA Studio, respectively. Each workspace is expected to be ready for occupation in mid-2020.
These two additions follow numerous acquisitions made by other flexible workspace operators as the demand for co-working space and serviced offices in Soho and Fitzrovia continues to expand and diversify, mimicing the trend of rapid growth across central London’s flexible office market.
